Description: A very rare pair of early 19th Century visually striking green Verde Antico marble and golden Sienna marble sculpture pedestals with highly polished well cast brass mounts.  This fantastic pair of marble pedestals are of exceptional quality, finely hand carved with stunning patination and are adorned with beautiful shades of white and grey veining with both lighter and deep green and golden tonal shades, creating an exquisite pattern throughout.  The moulded stepped marble top of square form is raised over an elegant, ring turned gun barrel column embellished with finely cast polished brass mounts featuring stunning flowerhead, foliate, ribbon, beaded row, fluting, richly scrolling foliate, guilloche and concentric ring motif detail, supported on square, stepped platform plinth base, terminating on brass foot.
