Description: A lovely rare vintage imperial world globe featuring a finely cast brass meridian and beautifully illustrating the territorial map, ocean currents and main trade routes.  The stem holds a swivel globe which is signed 'Cram Universal, made by George Cram and Co.', and is set within a finely hand carved 19th Century ebonised and gilded stand raised on elegant tapering fluted and turned legs united by concave shelved undertier, terminating on brass and ceramic casters.  Dimensions: H: 28.5 in / 72.4 cm   W: 16 in / 40.7 cm    D: 16 in / 40.7 cm  Stock Reference No: A3243
