Description: A very fine and unusual pair of 19th Century well figured ash marble top bedside chests of exceptional quality and beautifully hand carved with fabulous rich patination and grain. The striking Carrara White marble top of rectangular form is raised over four graduated and panelled oak lined drawers, all with ebonised detail and decorative well cast brass swan neck pulls flanked with fluted panels with lovely hand carved acanthus leaf motif detail supported on platform base, terminating on elegant stylised ogee bracket feet.
