Description: A very fine late 19th Century well figured burr walnut cabinet, beautifully hand carved and of exceptional quality with gorgeously rich patination, fine grain and brass mounted with stunning inlaid detail throughout. The moulded top of rectangular form with is raised over an elegantly simple panelled frieze with an exquisite marquetry inlaid arrangement of flowers and richly scrolling foliate motifs. Raised above a single, shaped and glazed panelled door, fitted with decorative brass escutcheon and key which opens to a shelved interior. Flanked with panelled sides mounted with well cast brass detail featuring gorgeous foliate motifs, supported on serpentine shaped platform plinth base.
